What Is Small Community?
ABFs are Bible-centered with an emphasis on building relationships – think of Sunday School with a heavy dose of relationship throw in. The format of an ABF is 20 minutes of fellowship over coffee and donuts, followed by approximately 20 minutes of prayer requests, prayer and announcements, concluding with 35 minutes of interactive Bible teaching.
There are many choices and opportunities for you in our ABF ministry on Sunday mornings at 9:00am or 10:30am, Saturday evenings, or during our Mid-Week fellowships. Northside Baptist Church offers over 30 different small groups each week through Adult Bible Fellowships (ABF) and In-Home bible studies.
Information on current studies may be found on each of the following pages: ABF objectives include:
We look forward to seeing you in an ABF!
A key element in our “making disciples” process is the issue of small community. If you are not currently involved on a weekly basis, you are missing a tremendous blessing. In our world of over-crowded schedules and superficial relationships, ABFs can provide the heart-warming, nurturing care we all long to find within the body of Christ.
If you are not currently in a small group at Northside, please check out our offerings (times to the right), or email Pastor Kerm for more information.
