Jim and Evelyn Anderson - Germany
Jim and Evelyn arrived in Germany where Jim began teaching at the German Theological Seminary only six years after the seminary was founded. At that time, they had 36 students and only 22 graduates. Jim was one of three full-time teachers, all Americans. The "land of the Luther" is in dire need of a second reformation. Materialism, humanism, biblical criticism and liberal state churches have combined to alienate Germans from the message of eternal life through a personal relationship with Christ. After 27 years of ministry in Germany, the Andersons are more enthusiastic than ever about the strategic opportunity of training young Germans. Jim teaches 55 - 60 students on Bible Survey of the Old and New Testaments and Bible Study Methods. The student body has grown to 160 students with over 500 student graduates. The Andersons ask that we continue to pray that their graduates will be enabled by God to reap a great harvest in coming years. "And the things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also."
