George and Jolly Oommen - India

George was born in the south of India into a Christian home. After high school, he became active in Christian service and came to the States for his education. After completing his college education he returned to India where he engaged in church planting.

His wife, Mary, was also born in India. She was unable to join George in the States for two years, during which she too was active in Christian work in India. After joining George in the states, she studied for two years also.

During many years of ministry, George and Mary traveled to India each year to direct their Bible correspondence school, with more than 7,000 students, and to participate in open-air evangelism.

In 2003 Mary went to be with the Lord. George has since married  Jolly, and they continue working side-by-side in ministry in India.
