Don and Bea Crane - Budapest, Hungary
Don, while studying at Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee, did literature distribution work in Italy with Operation Mobilization. Bea, after attending Philadelphia College of Bible, served as a home missionary in Kentucky, studied at the American Institute of Holy Land Studies in Jerusalem, then entered Bryan College, where she met Don. The Cranes were involved in establishing the Portuguese Bible Institute while serving in Portugal. They then served in France as Don took on the responsibility of Associate Director for Central Europe, while Bea served as coordinator for Missionary Kid's Ministries and coordinator for "Teaching English as a Foreign Language." In 1997 Don assumed the responsibility as Field Leader for an organization which has successfully trained national pastors and leaders throughout Eastern Europe following the fall of Communism. In 2002 Don stepped down from leadership in that position and both Don and Bea are responsible for co-directing in a project to train and mentor younger people as future leaders to reach the goal of seeing a witnessing fellowship of believers within reach of every person in Europe.
